Mortal Kombat Kollection: Trailer | Playstation 3 game console review
Although I?m much more of a Street Fighter fan, I have to say I?m rather pleased this is coming out. To me, these were the top Mortal Kombat games to come out. In fact, I remember it like yesterday. I was 7 years old, and it was Christmas time. I got both Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter II for Christmas in 1993. I played the HELL OUTTA THOSE GAMES! LOLOL. Do you remember just trying to find out the fatalities and excute them. Remember the whole mercy sequence when trying to do the babalities. Or even the long sequences for Shang Tsung for his morph fatalities? Good ass memories. One of my favorite stages was the Pit II from MK II because it had this very cool flat close up of the ground when you knocked your opponent off the bridge.
Of course, MK III was definitely the cake for me. The Graveyard, Bell Tower, Soul Chamber, and Underground were def some of my favorite stages. I had MK III for both Sega Genesis as well as PC (PC version had more of the arcade feel). However, nothing can quite compare to that Christmas in 1993. SNES definitely had the better graphics of the two, but the Genesis had the blood and the brutal feel of the game which really set it apart to be honest. I just remember spending countless hours trying to do fatalities as well as trying to find Reptile (when he was like a Scorpion on speed?hahaha). Anyway, peep the trailer below. You?re sure to definitely get some good memories just from viewing the trailer!
